healthAlliance is one of New Zealand’s largest shared services providers. We support the four Northern Region District Health Boards (DHB’s) with technology shared services.

We are currently hiring for a number of Service Desk Analysts . You will be Penrose based with some work from home flexibility.

Technology plays a significant role in the delivery of quality healthcare services and improving patient experiences. We work in collaboration with the DHBs to support their extensive ICT enterprise and to safely accelerate their digital transformation journey improving the way health information is shared across the region to support better patient care.

What you can expect

  • You are a customer focused individual and will be vital to us delivering our services across New Zealand
  • You understand the importance of giving an excellent customer service experience and willing to go the extra mile
  • You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that client queries are resolved, within agreed timeframes of course
  • What we need to see from you

  • Experience working in a IT related customer service / contact centre environment - financial services or health preferred
  • Prior Level 1 IT support along with an awareness of the ITIL framework
  • Outstanding communication and administrative skills, a warm and approachable manner and tech-savvy
  • Given that we have a busy environment it would be great if you consider yourself to be a quick learner with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage your time effectively with great attention to detail
  • Certifications in Microsoft product support and diploma- level IT education are favorable, not essential

    To be considered for this role you will need to have been fully vaccinated including any required Boosters. Evidence of your vaccination status will need to be provided prior to commencing employment.

    This requirement results from healthAlliance being a provider of services to the health sector, meaning that many of our staff interact closely with staff from (and at) DHBS.

    Further, in the event of incidents and emergencies, our Connect building must be available for DHB staff to use as a backup site.

    As a result, all of our staff are required to be vaccinated against COVID 19 under the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021.
