Do you want to be proud to work for a company that respects its people and is at the forefront of technology? We have an Associate Systems Engineer role in our 24 / 7 support team for someone to take their next step into this space.

In this role you will provide remote management and support of predominantly Windows server infrastructure across a range of Enterprise-level clients including resolution of incidents, systems monitoring and performing scheduled processes.

Using a sophisticated call management system, you will ensure issues are dealt with promptly, within agreed service levels, and with a professionalism that guarantees operational and delivery standards are met.

The 24 / 7 support team operates on a roster system with shifts of 7am-7pm, and 7pm-7am, so the ability to cover these hours is imperative.

The bonus is that after you work 4 days in a row, you will then have a 4 day weekend!

This role would be ideally suited to someone who has seen the inside of a large organisation built on the Microsoft Infrastructure, and has experienced enough L1 & L2 Helpdesk scenarios to understand the bigger picture, and the implications of an operational failure at Server level.

To make your new role a success, in addition to some Windows Server experience you will need to have :

  • Customer facing skills, including communication, professionalism and follow-up
  • A willingness to learn and develop self-sufficiency, both with your day-to-day work and identifying relevant training opportunities.
  • Exposure to processes of Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management
  • Experience using common IT Service Desk and Operational Management tools and processes to deliver IT support services (SCCM, SCOM, etc.)
  • Proven ability to work well in a team
