Infrastructure Specification Lead

This role is responsible for providing subject matter expertise to the design and build of major public transport infrastructure projects in Auckland, being involved in the project planning, development and delivery phases of projects like Wellesley St Bus improvement, Drury train / bus interchange, Devonport Ferry terminal upgrade and City Rail Link Ltd
Key Responsibilities will include :
This role will have direct input into providing the level of customer service that is :
Optimised in relation to the capital investment to achieve the project objectives including patronage and customer satisfaction targets there by increasing patronage
To act as a key point of contact between the Auckland Transport Infrastructure Specifications team and other Auckland Transport / Auckland Council departments on all Major projects.
Be the SME on PT infrastructure requirements along with the ability to influence decisions.
Develop procedures required to improve performance issues, strategic requirements and safety
project teams to Metro Management team
What are we looking for?
Relevant Tertiary Qualification in a technical or engineering discipline OR professional experience to demonstrate competence in the same
Preferred Transport / Public Transport related qualification
Preferred minimum of 5 years' experience in transport operations management, facility design, asset management / maintenance
Risk assessment experience
Experience in major project, programme management and operational requirements of public transport to ensure that the specifications of public transport infrastructure facilities are practical and realistic
