We are looking for a full-time, permanentRetail Insurance Adviserbased in the area ofCambridge and Matamata. Start date would be January 2020.

Job Purpose / Objective : Reporting to the Senior Insurance Adviser, the purpose of the Insurance Adviser is : - To present suitable and quality advice to our customers in line with our purpose and Cigna values.

  • To support the designated regional team to help customers and communities thrive by protecting what is important to them ensuring they are equipped with appropriate knowledge of product and process.
  • Critical Priorities & Responsibilities : Financial : - Responsible for achieving specialist life sales. - Responsible for achieving sales through Retail and Business Banking by lifting frontline capability across these product lines : - Life and Living insurance Customer : - Ensure that customers retain the appropriate level of cover.

  • Provide suitable advice to customers through seamless customer experience. Process : - Ensure adherence to our customer and application process for quality, suitable advice.
  • Ensure strong pipeline management e.g. cycle times, application quality. People : - Build strong relationships through strong stakeholder management.
  • Experience / Education / Knowledge Requirements : - Minimum 5 years selling experience in the Banking / Financial Services industry.

  • Demonstration of proven sales results / performance. - Excellent knowledge of the Insurance and Funds Management industry.
