o Aotearoa, a leading provider of TertiaryEducation across Aotearoa, is currently recruiting for Engineers ServiceOperations to provide front-line IT advice and support to the organisation’stechnology users (staff and students) and resolve IT requests.
Duties for this role include responding to all requests fortechnical assistance predominantly by phone and email, with some onsite supportrequired.
You will be responsible for :
Applicants will have Diploma Computing Level 5 (or relatedfield), and / or be a Microsoft Certified Professional, have at least two years’experience in an IT service desk or remote support role and hold a full New Zealanddriver’s licence (Class 1).
It would be an advantage if you have had experienceworking within a multi-site IT environment. Excellent relationship managementskills, written and oral communication skills, planning and project / taskmanagement skills are needed for this role along with knowledge of Microsoftproducts including Office365, Active directory, Powershell, and a soundunderstanding of IT service management and technology concepts.
An understanding of basic te reo Māori phrases, mihi and greetingsand of Māori values, culture and tikanga would be an advantage.
