What you ll do with your time
The main aim of thisposition is to assistservices and staff that work with people with dementia to move towards more Dementia Friendly modelsof care and health environments.
Are you a registered health professional with a backgroundin dementia? Join our team on the West Coast where you will work in conjunctionwith the South Island Walking in Another s Shoes Coordinator, and you will beresponsible for the implementation of the programme on the West Coast.
In thisrole you will :
You will have a currentAPC and at least two years experience in a field thatincludes working with people living with dementia.
A passion for great person-centre care, excellentinterpersonal skills and ability to motivate and support behavioural changewithin complex environments is a must, alongside demonstrated clinical teachingskills.
This is a 0.6FTE permanentrole based in Greymouth, with travel required across the West Coast region, and at times toCanterbury.
