What you'll do : As one of our Personal Insurance Consultants, you'll have proactive conversations to ensure everyone you speak to will be better insured and / or better-educated about insurance by the time they hang up the phone with you.
You'll ask the right questions to understand more about each customer's immediate and future needs, and then discuss the features and benefits of the right solutions to protect their vehicle, house, contents and other assets.
We want to set our customers up for a positive experience when they need to make a claim, so it's important to ensure they understand their cover completely and know exactly what to expect when they suffer a loss.
We need to be here for our customers whenever they need us, so our centre is open 7 days a week (Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm & Saturday to Sunday 9am - 6pm).
Our shifts rotate to cover these days and hours, so you'll work 75 hours per fortnight (10 x 7.5-hour shifts). This may include one weekend day every fortnight.
What we're looking for : We're seeking people who can build a natural rapport with customers over the phone, and who really want to help to make their world a safer place.
You'll bring strong customer service experience but be ready for a new challenge. You'll be adept at uncovering customer needs using your inbound or outbound calling experience and finding the right solutions for them.
A positive attitude goes a long way, as well as wanting to build genuine connections with your customers and colleagues.
You'll really be immersed in the world of insurance and will need to absorb a lot of technical information, but we will set you up for success with a robust training plan and ongoing support and development.
