Product Trainer - Casual Position - Wellington, NZ.

The role :

Join our successful and experienced Haemodialysis Sales & Education team. We work within Renal Dialysis Units in major public and private hospitals in NZ supporting the delivery of Haemodialysis.

Based in Wellington (our office is in Mount Wellington) you will support and provide education on the function and optimal use of the Baxter Artis Physio Plus Multi Therapy System and associated products during trials and implementations on a casual basis.

Key responsibilities :

Meet the Baxter 2020 Goal of providing and ensuring Quality and Patient Safety’

  • Provide clinical expertise within the Renal Care (HD) team;
  • Co-ordinate and provide education and on-going training throughout trials and implementations of Baxter HD Products;
  • Continue ongoing product support starting from trials to implementation, following the complete product life cycle;
  • Understand how EHS regulations and trends affect customers and how EHS initiatives can provide a marketing advantage;
  • Implement EHS Policy and report EHS incidents that endanger the environment or people;
  • Ensure Baxter product information material provided to customers has been approved by Marketing and / or Medical Affairs.

    Ideally you will have a background that includes demonstrated training experience in healthcare as well as a Nursing degree.

    Essential :

  • 2 + years technical / clinical experience - Haemodialysis experience;
  • Well-developed presentation and communication skills ability to impart technical and conceptual information;
  • Proven relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Strong customer focus and a passion for delivering customer satisfaction;
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours and undertake interstate travel;
  • Current drivers licence;
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

    Desirable :

  • Healthcare Educator / Training background;
  • Commercial / Sales / Account Management in Healthcare;
  • Post Graduate Qualification in Nursing;
  • Understanding of adult learning principles - Cert IV in Workplace Training.
