The Role

Our focus is on delivering continuous improvements and added value to our clients and we are now seeking a registered Plumber to assist our current technicians and be part of a unique opportunity delivering outstanding results to our client at Waiouru Military Camp as part of our NZ Defence Force contract.

Waiouru is adjacent to the Tongariro National Park and Mt. Ruapehu. It is a perfect location for outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting, tramping and skiing.

Housing and / or accommodation is available in the Camp.

This is a great opportunity for someone possessing all round practical and other required skills and has an experience over a wide range of related building, facilities, and services tasks.

As part of a Maintenance team you will become an integral part of our ability to provide continuity of service to meet the requirements of our clients.

The successful applicant must :

  • Hold the relevant qualification / s and NZ Plumbing registration;
  • Have a Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality focus;
  • A passion for satisfying our customer's requirements and expectations;
  • Ability to analyse problems and implement effective solutions on a timely basis and have experience in a similar role;
  • Assist with scoping and quoting of works;
  • Show initiative, enthusiasm and have good presentation;
  • Be well organized and capable of multi-tasking;
  • Have good communication skills;
  • Have basic computer literacy skills;
  • Have a clean and current driver's license;
  • Pass military and other related security clearance procedures;
  • Pass a pre-employment medical;
  • Be able to work effectively in a team as well individually.
