6FTE) permanent vacancy for experienced NZ registered occupational therapists.
These roles are based in the STAR (Treatment, Assessment & Rehabilitation) unit. The purpose of the roles in STAR is to provide quality occupational therapy assessment and interventions to clients in a rehabilitation setting.
The positions would suit an occupational therapist with experience in rehabilitation. Accreditation for wheelchair, postural management and basic housing modifications would be an advantage.
Support and training will be provided to ensure you have the skills to carry out your role.

MidCentral District Health Board employs more than 2500 staff at Manawatu, Palmerston North, Tararua and Horowhenua and Otaki districts.
Palmerston North Hospital is a 350 bed secondary hospital, which services an urban population of 80,000 and a total population catchment of 168,000.
In addition, the hospital is a teaching hospital, and is associated with both Auckland and Otago medical schools.
