    We are lookingfor a Registered Social Worker to join our team at Nelson Community AlliedHealth on a permanent full-time basis working 80 hours a fortnight.

    This role has an acute in-patient focus and isbased in the hospital; where bio-psychosocial assessments are required,interventions are offered to support complex challenges.

    You will provide thesocial work support as part of a team of allied health professionals.

    You will be registered with the NZ Social WorkersRegistration Board, and work in a collaborative way, delivering client-centredpractice from a strengths perspective.

    You will ideally have experience workingin a health setting and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and bringan understanding of the social determinants of health, and the impact on healthand social needs.

    You will have knowledge / experience of physical health and disability and supportsavailable in the community. You are well versed in family violence and care andprotection policies and expectations.

    You are someone with a good understanding of bi-culturalsocial work practice.

    For the health and safety of staff and patients all NMH staff arerequired to be vaccinated in accordance with the COVID-19 Public HealthResponse (Vaccinations) Order 2021.
