    The Waimakariri District Council are looking for a new Asset Information Management (AIM) Team Leader with the ability to work effectively across a wide range of issues and enable a customer-focused environment.

    In this role you will be required to lead the AIM Team and work with asset managers and project managers across various business units to achieve the Council's asset information management objectives.

    These include capturing newly acquired assets within the asset management system (Technology One) and GIS, maintaining the information, and to develop the Council's methodology and procedures for asset information management.

    The successful applicant will lead a motivated team of four. In this leadership role you will provide direction & coaching / mentoring to your team, high quality asset management system expertise across projects, lead by example through the delivery of a customer-focused service, and manage key stakeholder relationships.

    To be successful in this position you will need to be able to work under pressure, have a solutions-focused attitude, demonstrate a drive to improve asset management systems, processes and standards, the ability to manage programs of work, and show a commitment and desire to build strong working relationships with various stakeholders and asset owners within Council.

    Extensive experience using asset management systems is a must, as are data analysis skills.
