Our NZ Water Business is currently seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to become an integral member of our Auckland-based Water team.
Key responsibilities will include :
Provide technical input and leadership to projects. Primary focus will be on providing mechanical engineering support within water and industrial sector projects
Provide discipline and project design leadership; delivery of high quality technical solutions either stand-alone or as part of multi-discipline project teams
Prepare high-quality reports, correspondence, and other deliverables
Lead and assist the development of our junior engineers
Maintain and develop expertise and stay abreast of developments in their technical field
Develop robust relationships with internal and external Client and project teams
What you will bring to the team :
Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience with mechanical design consultancy work, preferably within the water industry
Technically competent and recognised as such both within GHD and externally
Experienced with Digital and BIM project delivery
Dedicated and prepared to go the extra mile for Our Clients, GHD and People
Proactive and takes ownership in all areas of the role.
BE Mechanical or related equivalent qualification
