Black & Gold Events are looking for their next Functions Manager to join the team!
We are looking for someone to start asap! - This position is full-time (minimum 30 hours a week).
Black & Gold Events manage and operate in three function venues within central Wellington, The Basin Reserve, Harbourside Functions Centre, and Kumutoto as well as being actively involved in major events in the city.
You will become part of a team where diversity and flexibility are key, no two days are the same, so you will gain heaps of experience.
The perfect functions manager will...
Have a genuine passion for Hospitality, Functions and Events including experience working in the hospitality sector
Lead the team to ensure the appropriate execution of all functions and events to the highest standard.
Ensure all stock and equipment are ordered and set up to make sure the function runs smoothly
Be able to pre-empt potential issues by being aware of all operational aspects of the function.
Show strong organizational skills
Have a clear focus on objectives and make sure the team are all on the same page.
Have excellent communication skills!
Has a valid LCQ & Duty Managers licence
