Injury Claims Administrator,

The ACC, Accident Compensation Corporation, is the national insurer for physical injuries in New Zealand. As an acute hospital we are required to lodge all presenting injuries with ACC so injured patients can access their insurance cover if their claim is accepted.

Waitemata DHB urgently requires a thorough and medically versed person to facilitate the lodgement of injuries via our online system.

This full time position is located at our North Shore Hospital site and offers flexibility during standard working hours.

The job is for an initial period of 6 months starting on 1st of October 2018.

You will be part of the North Shore based ACC Unit who will provide you with on the job training. You will be able to work with support from the Non Acute Rehabilitation Contract Manager for administration support and other duties.

Over time you will become our ACC injury lodgement champion at North Shore Hospital and educate and encourage relevant stakeholders within the clinical teams.
