Work on the largest NZ accountAccount manage the Jockey brandHigh levels of exposure across the businessWe are looking to recruit a Key Account Manager (KAM) on an initial 6m contract in our Auckland-based offices.

You will be working on our largest account, Farmers, managing a key category across multiple brands. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be joining an experienced and knowledgeable team of Account Managers and a Sales Coordinator, who will support your introduction to the business and brands.

As a KAM your role is to drive performance in your category portfolio, with a key focus on sales revenue, forecasting and in-store execution.

We are looking for someone who enjoys managing relationships, understands the importance of follow up and managing timelines, and above all relishes the new and a challenge.

Your days will be spent diving into reporting, analysing sales data, forecasting, chasing deliveries, reviewing sales performance internally, and also with the Farmers team.

We want someone who is capable of maintaining the existing relationships whilst also actively identifying opportunities for the brand and category to increase pegs and sales.

What experience do I have?You have a love for sales and account / relationship management you have a knack for influencing and can expertly build / foster / grow positive and rewarding relationshipsAttention to detail is important to you and you can read a room well whilst you work smartly and don't sweat the small stuff, you know what needs to be done, when, to what standard, and for which stakeholderKnowledge and experience working in a large and complex organisation, ideally within retail / apparel / fashion or related industry, would be hugely beneficialYou are naturally analytical, enjoy spreadsheets and data, and can work your way around Excel and reporting tools with ease : Excel must be your best friendYou are organised, have a strong work ethic and are able to juggle deadlines, timelines, brands and stakeholder demands without getting ruffled : if you're asked to rework something for one of your Buyers, you do it with a smile and remember for the next timeWhat's in it for me?
