This role will work closely with Service Delivery and clinical staff within Spectrum Care in delivering their responsibilities and outcomes.
This role is responsible for : Providing leadership for the Behaviour Support Team and support to the Service Delivery Teams,Monitoring, improving and reinforcing evidence based behaviour support practices,Planning and development of strategies based on Positive Behaviour Support Principles,Embedding minimisation of restrictive practices and Positive Behaviour Support principles within the organisation.
You will have : A tertiary qualification at Bachelors level (minimum), which may include Psychology or the equivalent,Experience in supporting people and their supports with an intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder and / or foetal alcohol spectrum disorder at a senior level,Experience in the proactive management of restraint minimization,Understanding of Trauma-informed care,Experience in project management.
The role is based in our head office in Greenlane, Auckland, but may require travel to services provided by Spectrum Care.
