We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Communications Advisor - Channels now available within our Public Affairs team.

We are looking for someone to shape how we connect with our staff and stakeholders and manage our digital channels (excluding TAB) ensuring all website and intranet content is up to date, relevant and engaging.

In the role of Senior Communications Advisor, you will ensure our corporate channels and stakeholder newsletters operate effectively by developing and delivering effective and engaging internal and external communications plans.

You'll make recommendations to drive improvements through our technical platform, in addition to content management on the intranet and corporate website.

Overall it will be your responsibility to ensure there is regular and relevant content on our corporate communication channels and drive internal digital content.

You'll work closely with the Head of Public Affairs, Corporate Communications Manager, Internal Communications Manager and the wider communications team to leverage build the relevance of our channels and effectively engage with our priority audiences.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Responsible for maintaining the intranet and corporate digital channels, including the technical development and improvement of content management
  • Oversee the maintenance and performance of internal digital channels, ensuring system processes are working effectively to deliver reliable, efficient services
  • Regularly monitor, analyse, and review user interface, site responsiveness, functionality and content management
  • Supervise the content management, editing and loading of internal and corporate digital content
  • Work across the business to support internal communications using digital channels
  • Regularly report on web analytics and other monitoring tools to evaluate online engagement and refine content to continually improve quality, accessibility and effectiveness of TAB Corporate / RITA web pages.
  • Monitor and maintain design, layouts, information architecture and content standards Oversee the production of e-newsletters to TAB / RITA stakeholders
  • Support the development of corporate communication channels including Statement of Intents and Annual Reports.
  • Who are you?

    With proven experience in effective corporate and internal communications delivery, you'll have a genuine passion for stakeholder communications both internal and external.

    Alongside your background in digital marketing or communications, you will have a good understanding of emerging technology and contemporary approaches to web development and content management systems.

    You will be comfortable with production, including the design, development and distribution of online platforms, infographics and video.

    With a focus on continuous improvement, you will monitor and regularly report on web analytics to ensure the content is working effectively and having maximum impact.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with priority stakeholders to encourage collaboration across the business
  • Provide leadership and strategic advice to people across the organisation, particularly in relation to digital communications channels.
  • Coach and support internal stakeholders to understand and contribute to the organisation's social and media strategies and implementation
  • Your communication skills will excellent, with experience in writing and preparing materials for a range of online communication channels, including websites and social media.
  • Experience in using InDesign or photoshop would be highly beneficial.

  • You'll be an organised self-starter, who is able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure - and demonstrate a sound understanding of corporate stakeholder management and Public Relations.
