    The role .. We are looking for an experienced Procurement Category Manager to lead and manage the ICT category team. You will be responsible for developing category strategies and plans that meet the needs of healthAlliance NZ and the Northern Region District Health Board stakeholders and align to the KPI’s of the healthAlliance FPSC Procurement organization.

    Responsibilities within the role will see you :

  • Plan and execute the procurement category strategy
  • Develop key DHB and healthAlliance NZ stakeholder relationships
  • Manage, develop and support category team members
  • Lead sourcing activities and implement successful procurement initiatives
  • Liaise with the appropriate national government procurement agencies to coordinate category activities
  • Lead the implementation of new processes and process improvements related to ICT Procurement
  • Who are you?

    You will have an in-depth understanding of the ICT procurement and an established track record in managing procurement projects and teams.

    You think strategically around business requirements, you are commercially savvy coupled with a sound knowledge of contract negotiations.

    You are an expert in stakeholder and supplier relationship management and have excellent communication skills you are self-

    driven to make things happen . A tertiary qualification in procurement, business or economics with a minimum of five years’ experience in a commercial leadership role is essential.
