As part of a remote working team, you will be joining the Technology Operations function as part of our wider Group Technology Department where the primary objective is to deliver innovative Digital solutions and services to ensure value can be realised by business units.
Although remote working is encouraged, there will be times where you will be required to work on various Fletcher Building sites (Onehunga, Otahuhu, Mt.
Wellington, etc) depending on the level of end user support needed.The purpose of this role is to take responsibility of Level 2 technical support for all end user devices (including desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, smart phones, tablets, handheld devices and audio-visual equipment) across the Fletcher Building Group.
You’ll be charged with device configuration, diagnosing technical issues and repairing or replacing equipment where needed.
The role will see you take ownership of these processes from start to finish, as well as escalating, as required, any issues to the EUC Engineer, EU Team Lead or EUC Manager.
In addition to this, the EUC analyst is responsible for ensuring the EUC experience is of a high quality for end users. About You To be considered for this role you must have a tertiary degree in computer science or information technology with 3 - 5 years end user experience within the Building Materials industry.
This must include configuration, diagnosis, maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment. You’ll be able to confidently communicate to end users of all levels, including proven ability to translate technical speak into common business language.
Ideally, your enterprise experience will align with an evident track record of working in a complex delivery environment within a large organisation.
With a strong customer focus and ability to deliver a high level of service, you will be highly collaborative with comprehensive desktop and field support experience within the Building Materials industry behind you.
Advanced knowledge and skills in SCCM (application packaging) is a must have while relevant IT accreditations and certifications such as MCP, MCSA, and ITIL will be advantageous.
More importantly, we’re looking for a problem solver who can analyse and put structure in ambiguous situations while providing top notch service for our end users.
