A bit about the role?

We are not just looking for a planner, we are seeking someone who is truly passionate about reliability centered maintenance and best in class planning.

With your exceptional trades knowledge, communication, influencing, organizational and CMMS skills you will (further) develop your planning skills to scope, plan, cost and ensure parts for timely completion of preventative and scheduled maintenance activities for the site, liaising closely with the wider maintenance team in addition to working closely with production.

For a seasoned maintenance planner, we can broaden the role to provide stretch seeing you involved with developing planning frameworks and leading the continuous improvement of the planning team.

You will also :

  • Support the Maintenance Manager in mini shut planning
  • Work alongside trades teams to implement strategy base planned maintenance.
  • Help develop strong maintenance practices using Operational Excellence strategies
  • Develop, implement and maintain planning procedures, forecasting future preventative maintenance needs and associated requirements
  • Provide the daily, weekly plans of maintenance
  • Ensure accurate monitoring of project timelines, costs, work scope and planning with effective communication at all levels
  • Ensure CMMS data is current and accurate
  • Produce full planned work packs across all trade?s skills
  • Building outstanding relationships with trades people and production
  • Work with production scheduling team to ensure maintenance windows are available
  • A bit about you?

    To ensure your success in this role, you will have both exceptional trades skills and the desire to expand your knowledge and develop your career, ideally with strong planning experience.

    You will have :

  • An advanced trade qualification in fitting or electrical, ideally dual trades qualified
  • Sound experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using CMMS systems, with experience with MEX and M3 advantageous
  • Exceptional organizational skills, resourcefulness and a drive to continuously improve your way of working
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a large cross-functional team
  • A self-starting approach and ability to lead and influence teams
