    In this position, you will be working in an agile team developing and maintaining EROAD’s Mobile apps using the latest tools and technologies.

    You will be very competent in designing and developing software for mobile devices with complex business requirements including offline operations and interaction with proprietary hardware.

    Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Xamarin developer with apps in the Store
  • Competent in designing and developing apps within Xamarin and Xamarin Forms for both iOS and Android
  • Experience with native APIs for Android and iOS
  • Knowledge of common design patterns and when / how to use them (MVVM, MVC, bonus points if you know MVU)
  • Understanding how to consume REST services using JSON
  • Appreciation of usability design
  • Experience in designing to address Non-functional requirements and making sensible design decisions (e.g. security, performance)
  • Automated Unit / UI testing design and implementation experience e.g. NUnit / xUnit, Moq / Foq, Xamarin UI Test, etc
  • Experience in developing against a version control system (e.g. Git and Github)
  • Desirable

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or related field.
  • Continuous integration and delivery (e.g. Concourse, Jenkins)
  • F# (or willingness to learn) for mobile development with Xamarin
  • Web application framework e.g. Spring MVC, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, React
  • Experience in an IaaS environment like AWS to deliver high scale horizontally.
