Our Planning & Engagement team in Auckland are in need of further expertise to help them deliver on the abundant supply of work we are undertaking.

Our team is made up of a range of technical experts, insightful advisors and articulate communicators who form a cohesive and cooperative crew, working together to provide outstanding professional solutions.

Our recent acquisition of Golder makes us the world's leading Environmental Consultancy, and one that is consistently trusted to help solve Aotearoa’s important multi-disciplinary infrastructure and environmental challenges.

The role :

The successful candidate will be an integral part of creating our future communities with sustainable outcomes by providing planning advice and solutions to a variety of infrastructure projects including transport, water, education and housing.

Now we need more people to help us continue on our growth trajectory. In particular, we are eager to hear from Planners who are passionate about delivering solutions that fit the needs of our clients.

We are looking for someone with a least 2 years’ experience, who wants to progress their career and take on new challenges, and be part of a team that delivers significant community infrastructure projects.

This role sits within our Environment Sector group, giving you access to our technical experts in ecology, sustainability, contaminated land, landscape architecture, and urban designers as well as our wider planning team network.

  • The objective of this role is to provide resource management planning services to clients within Auckland and wider areas, where required;
  • and to work as a member of the planning team to achieve the teams’ goals and objectives and to assist the office in meeting the business plan.

    Skills and Experience :

    A tertiary qualification in planning / resource management or related discipline is essential.

    A member of the NZPI is desirable but not essential.

    At least 2 years’ experience in a planning or related role

    Current Clean Drivers Licence.

    Able to work effectively and competently with people at all levels; within and external to the organisation.

    Commercial and a level of maturity needed to understand business needs and drivers.
