We have an exciting new opportunity for a role that has arisen within our Retail team based in Auckland. The role is will largely focus on Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism (AML / CFT).

Our Compliance Programme is designed to detect manage and mitigate the risk of money laundering and the financing of terrorism.

In this role, known internally as CDD and Assurance Administrator, your key focus will be to accurately assess customer data against compliance criteria to carefully validate exceptions to compliance criteria in relation to the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009.

ResponsibilitiesComplete customer compliance remediation actions to ensure and maintain a high compliance rate against our AML / CFT requirementsConsistently and accurately maintain the customer compliance tracker to ensure accurate reporting of TAB account compliance ratesProduce effective and appropriate remediation reports to be distributed to key stakeholdersHelp to develop and apply actions that promote strong customer focus and standards.

Act with the customer in mind and continually look for innovations and improvements to the customer experience of the work you do.

You will work alongside the Risk and Assurance team to develop appropriate and fit for purpose processes as well as providing support to the Retail Operations Team.

So, you will feel comfortable working independently and as part of a team and have the ability to build strong relationships.

What you’ll needAlongside excellent attention to detail, you’ll leave no stone unturned to achieve accuracy when accomplishing a task.

You’ll naturally take a methodical and organised approach to tasks, ensuring you establish well thought out processes.You’ll be a confident decision maker, able to access information and make a decision which results in the best outcome as appropriate.

You will need to be technologically savvy with accurate data entry skills and knowledge of google sheets or excel is essential.
