As a Senior Analyst you will assist in the maintenance and support of the client’s applications.

Responsibilities :

Service Focus and Commitment

  • Take individual responsibility for providing effective and efficient client services.
  • Participate on the on-call roster on a rotational basis as requested.
  • Use effective communication skills to understand and assist clients
  • Follow documented processes and procedures for application management.
  • Handle or refer complaints courteously, helpfully and assertively.
  • Meet or exceed the expectations of others when providing a service.
  • Take responsibility for your own actions and decisions.
  • Own assigned tasks and drive them to a successful outcome / output.
  • Maintain competency in ITIL processes and technical products used by the client.
  • Testing, Monitoring and Reporting

  • Proactively monitor the client’s application stack using the tools available.
  • Provide performance and utilisation trend analysis and statistical reporting as requested.
  • Ad-hoc reporting as requested.
  • Undertake testing to ensure effective operation of releases, changes or resolutions.
  • Problem Solving

  • Develop a sound understanding of the technical aspects of the support analyst role.
  • Make use of relevant and available information and consult others where necessary when considering solutions to problems / solutions.
  • Identify and weigh up risk appropriately before taking remedial action.
  • Ensure all change control procedures are followed prior to the implementation of any changes into Client environments.
  • Java - Spring Framework, Hibernate, Drools, JQueries, .net
  • Oracle or MS SQL Working Experience
  • Experience with some job scheduling and stack monitoring tools.
  • Basic Networking Knowledge
  • Exposure to Ansible Tower, Jenkins, Git,Stash, BitBucket
  • Exposure to Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices
  • Working knowledge on Windows and UNIX platforms
  • Experience in testing, releasing and change activities and best practices
  • Communication

  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to a style of language that is appropriate for the audience or client.
  • Listen and take into account the point of view from others or client.
  • Writes reports, letters, memoranda that identify all the essential elements which are clear, concise and grammatical.
  • Provide feedback to manager on issues that are stopping you from delivering your commitments.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration

  • Ensure other people know when you have information that could be used, at the right time.
  • Ensure sensitivity to the views, opinions and responsibilities of other staff and seek to maintain good relationships with them.
  • Highlight to your manager when you have capacity to complete additional tasks.
  • Document any new or amend any existing processes and procedures required as part of the daily, weekly, monthly tasks.
  • Build working rapport with vendor and third-party technology team, and ensure collaboration.

  • Identify and use techniques that work for you to manage stress.
  • Identify and commit to learning and development opportunities.
  • Technical Skills
