You will be working as part of a team, comprised of Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC Technicians and our Building Maintenance crew ensuring our clients’ facilities are maintained to a high level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Workload will consist of a combination of reactive maintenance and minor project work, but also assisting with Planned Preventative Maintenance works

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in commercial / residential painting.
  • Commercial maintenance experience is highly desirable
  • Experienced in dealing with clients on site
  • Knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Ability or willingness to learn to use a tablet / iPad (for job dispatch)
  • KEY RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE :

  • Complete trades work
  • Act as the first point of contact for escalations technical and safety
  • Champion C&W safety management systems
  • Conduct safety spot checks
  • Conduct completed works spot checks
  • Approve SWMS and other safety documentation prior to job start
  • Ensure inductions are completed for new starters
  • Ensure initial and ongoing safety training is completed for new and existing starters
  • Some estimating work and management of minor works projects may be required

    Good personal presentation and customer service skills are also essential, as is a clean full driver’s licence.

    The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment medical screening, including a drug and alcohol test.

    A criminal conviction review is also a requirement of the role.
