Job Description
We have an immediate opportunity for a Department Manager Traffic Management to join our busy and close knit team based in our Wellington City office, you will be part of the Traffic Management Division and will play a key part in growing and leading Fulton Hogan’s Traffic Management business.
What you will be doing
This is an ideal opportunity to take ownership of this business unit, growing and developing the Traffic business in the region.
Your key focus will be on the following :
Strengthen our position within the region for delivering Traffic Management Services
Staff management and team development.
What you will bring
Our ideal candidate will have developed an understanding of Traffic Management with experience managing staff and sub-contractors to deliver for our clients.
It would be advantageous if you have experience within civil infrastructure and / or the roading sector.
STMS L1 or CAT A / B / C-NP
TTM Planning experience
Class 1 minimum, class 2 advantageous
Rapid plan experience.
Experience working in an environment, which engages multiple contractors and consultants.
Solid understanding of health and safety, with a track-record of delivery
Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
Able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
Computer skills and willingness to adapt technology
Previous people management or running of a team is essential
