Electrix is also one of NZ's foremost electrical construction and maintenance companies.We seek the services of an experienced Power Systems Technician to join our Technical Services Team.

Key responsibilities for this position include : Commitment to safety, quality and customer requirementsProduce and complete QA documentation and field proceduresHV Switching up to 110kVCarry out planned, corrective and reactive maintenance in Zone SubstationsLV and HV cable identification, fault locating and testingInstallation and testing of Zone Substation equipmentEnsure high voltage maintenance work is compliant to client quality specificationsAssist Coordinators and Managers with technical issuesKey skills required : Experience in protection relay setting and testingExperience in HV equipment testing and commissioningAbility to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levelsProficient in Microsoft suiteTechnical problem-solving abilitiesOrganisational and time management skillsAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to work flexible hours to support the operational needsQualifications / training required : A tertiary electrical engineering qualification, degree or diploma level or equivalent is required.

This position is based in Albany. Attractive rates of pay are available commensurate with experience, together with superannuation and free medical insurance.
