Senior Brand Manager, NZ, Asthma

Reporting to the Innovative Medicines Business Unit Head, the Senior Brand Manager will develop and execute the brand plan to accelerate the performance of the respiratory portfolio, current and future brands, in particular the Asthma products.

The Senior Brand Manager will deliver strategies and tactics that differentiates our respiratory products as best of class and highlight positive patient outcomes.

As a senior member of the close-knit Respiratory Marketing team, you will inspire the field-based representatives in primary and secondary care, creating buy-in to strategy and supporting with high quality training and marketing interventions that drive uptake in our respiratory portfolio.

The Senior Brand Manager will manage up to two office based staff.

Your responsibilities will be broad and will include :

  • Develop an NZ strategic annual brand plan in collaboration with the cross functional team
  • Influence and lead a cross functional brand team to assist in the development of strategy and initiatives
  • Lead the execution of a multi-channel brand strategy, including a content strategy, traditional print and digital promotion, advertising, meetings, public relations, sales force engagement, CRM strategy using a range of platforms to maximise the customer experience and approximately integrate different elements of the promotional mix.
  • Engage with sales leaders and sales teams in key initiatives as well as delivering effective sales team communication to support strong alignment with and buy-in to brand strategy to optimize sales.
  • Ensure effective communication of marketing programs to key stakeholders both internal and external, including the field force, external experts, and above country brand teams.
  • Monitor changes in market dynamics and the competitive environment, particularly for new products.
  • Creates and implements of the pre-launch and launch plans for current and future products across total respiratory portfolio.
  • Achieve budgeted sales for our asthma medications and effectively manage A&P spend within allocated budget and achieve monthly demand planning KPIs
  • Identifies new market / opportunities for the respiratory portfolio in conjunction with other stakeholders.
  • You will have :

  • Significant brand marketing experience, including experience utilizing multichannel promotion, digital promotion & consumer disease awareness campaigns.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, competitors, customers trends, government, current affairs and launch process ideally New Zealand specific experience
  • Strong customer focus both internal and external
  • Understanding of the medical and regulatory process, brands, and the company organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • A tertiary qualification, preferably in Business or Science.
