With this in mind, we're searching the aisles for an Activities Organiser to join our team.
If you're motivated by putting a smile on a customer's face and enjoy helping others, you will enjoy working as part of the Bunnings team.
As a team member at Bunnings, you will work in an informal environment that has retained a family feel. You will have the autonomy to make decisions and have some fun along the way.
Relevant experience is helpful, but it's your attitude and values that are the most important.
What an Activities Organiser can expect to do :
Implement and manage all store activities and instore vibe which include kids & "How To" workshops, supplier demonstrations and family nights
Visit local schools and community groups for workshops and community projects
Manage donations and fundraising activities for community groups
Present in front of groups, both in store and in the community
What we need from you :
A genuine passion for supporting the community
An ability to influence and motivate the team in store
Confidence to grow and maintain relationships
High energy and drive
Open communication style
Creativity to design workshops and activities
Strong computer skills including reporting and excellent phone etiquette
Ability to be organised, plan events and manage your time effectively
To be on your feet assisting with customers across a wide range of retail hours
