To continue our journey with us, our Christchurch team are looking for a self-motivated and encouraging Branch Manager to join the team.

Overall success in this role will be

  • Leading the daily operations in terms of people, fleet & plant maintenance, compliance and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Delivering on financial performance and ability to analyse trends to ensure profitability
  • Driving a positive team culture, and mentoring the team to grow & develop their skills
  • Alongside support teams, developing and maintaining policies & procedures around chemical handling to ensure a safe working environment and full compliance
  • Understanding and championing the health & safety for your site
  • Managing multiple priorities and ensuring customer satisfaction with each service
  • Your background will include

  • 5+ years’ experience managing a team within a fast-paced industry, ideally within the Transport or Logistics
  • University qualification ideally in Chemistry or Chemical engineering
  • Understanding and working knowledge of chemical handling
  • In-depth knowledge of financial and accounting principles, with ability to review monthly reports and drive performance
  • Proven experience leading a successful team, including multiple role groups (i.e. Drivers, Plant Operators and Administrators)
