Here in the People and Culture Directorate we have embedded a new service delivery model and we now have an opportunity for a HR Projects Coordinator / HR Advisor to join us to provide project administration and coordination to support our key HR initiatives and to provide back up support for our HR Business Partnering team.

Some of the projects you will be involved in will include our position description library project, our Jobwise project along with other process improvement projects.

On the other side you will be providing support for our HR advisory team providing HR advice, direction and solutions that support our staff.

Key skills and experience you will have are : Proven experience in an HR Advisor role of at least 2-3 years in a medium to large organisationA foundation of employment legislation and understand how this flows into HR processes.

Strong customer service ethos and proactive solution focusAbility to prioritise and meet deadlinesAbility to thrive in a high pressure environment with competing prioritiesEffective and confident interpersonal skillsAdministration efficiency and attention to detailYou will be required to work autonomously in this role and at the same time know what and when to escalate.

A proactive and tenacious approach supported by high attention to detail will see you thrive in this role. Your excellent communication skills, problem solving, and analytics will be key to success.
