Our Data Management and Information Delivery (DMAID) team in the Insights and Investments Group is doing some exciting work and we are looking for an experienced Analyst to help us deliver on our work programme.

At Insights MSD (iMSD) we help the Ministry to make better decisions using our expertise for research, evaluation, reporting and data analytics.
Our focus is on supporting the integration of insights into action, and contributing to innovation and continuous improvement.
The DMAID team is a critical part of iMSD and is the primary interface with IT. We design and develop data structures, dashboards, self-
service tools and automated reports. We are responsible for data stewardship ensuring safe and leading practice around data linking, privacy, ethics and access.
We are a busy team who work together to ensure that the information the Ministry collects is made available to others in a form that is accurate, timely, useful and appropriately structured.
We are looking for an analyst experienced in data development using SAS software within a large data warehouse. Experience with extracting, validating, formatting and analysing information will be essential.
You will be able to talk to both technical and non-technical people about numbers, data and context. You will also have the knowledge and capability to contribute to projects and pieces of work representing the DMAID team.
