    About the role :

    We have a fantastic opportunity to support our dedicated three lines of defence model, with this role facilitating the embedment of first line of defence for the Business Experience Hub (including product, marketing, analytics and digital staff).

    Our Business Experience Hub develops and delivers smart and digitally enabled financial solutions to support our business and institutional customers’ aspirations.

    The role is pivotal in leading the first line of defence requirements and continuously driving improvement of the business unit’s management of its risk and compliance environment.

    This includes meeting the obligations under the Operational Risk Management framework and Compliance framework requirements.

    What you will bring to the role?

  • Extensive experience within the financial services sector, with a substantial portion of that in risk management and / or compliance
  • Tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline
  • A relevant professional qualification would be advantageous
  • Experience in working within a fast-paced agile environment, including managing delivered and delivery risks (preferable)
  • An understanding of risk management and compliance techniques and the operation of related frameworks
  • Knowledge of the business and institutional banking sector advantageous
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
  • Experience in dealing with senior management, consultants and regulatory bodies
