Kia ora! I’m Kevin Turley, the Head of Special Projects, Finance at Heartland. We’re looking for a new Financial Systems and Projects Analyst to join our awesome team based in Newmarket, Auckland.
Is this your next role?
This a role that uses your understanding of systems and processes as well your financial analysis skills to improve and enhance Heartland’s financial reporting functions.
You’ll work across the Finance team to identify information needs, process bottlenecks and work to develop automated solutions to improve reporting timeframes and accuracy.
You’ll work closely with our Data & Analytics team to further develop our reporting capability and make sure these meet our ongoing needs.
You’ll be involved in the development and maintenance of Heartland’s credit provisioning and stress test models as well as developing other financial models as required.
You’ll also be involved in the development of Heartland’s core systems, ensuring all Finance requirements are identified and addressed.

You’re a critical thinker, curious, and keen to learn. You’ll have an understanding of financial systems and processes and experience using datasets and developing financial models.
You have an investigative mind, hungry to dive in and fix things. You have the ability to analyse issues, identify options, draw sound inferences, determine and recommend practical courses of action using innovation, creativity and good judgement.
