Reporting to the QA Manager, we have a great opportunity for an experienced QA Validation Specialist to join our Manurewa team.

With several new product introductions, you will hit the ground running in this busy but varied role with a broad range of learning and development opportunities.

As the lead in this space from a quality perspective, you will be responsible for :

Overall guidance of design, development, qualification, validation and implementation of existing and new products, utilities, equipment, processes, software and systems.

Work alongside the global validation group within Quality to ensure consistency in implementation and continuous improvement of procedures.

Collaborate with key stakeholders from multiple departments across the site to achieve project milestones and solve unique problems.

Assist other areas of QA such as systems management (specification approvals, internal audits, change controls, non-conformances and laboratory investigations) and document control where required.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a team member with the following skills and competencies :

Relevant tertiary education in a scientific field eg : pharmaceutical, chemistry etc

Strong experience of between 3-5 years leading validation activities in a GMP environment

Ability to communicate technical subjects effectively to a varied audience

Analytical problem-solving skills resulting in sound decision making to resolve quality issues in a collective manner

Excellent written and verbal communication skills that can collaborate and influence others from different backgrounds and departments

Top notch time management skills that are flexible and adaptable to ever changing priorities and deadlines
