Social media plays an increasingly important part in keeping Wellingtonians up to date with all City Council activity. It's front and centre of communications and engagement with the community and is critical to building a connected and people-centred city.
In this exciting and demanding role you'll champion the Council's social media policy and strategies, manage and create content and monitor Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Instagram, Snap Chat and other channels as they emerge.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and relationship building skills and will have experience liaising with a wide range of Council units to support their campaigns and projects.
