Medical Director- Mental Health and Addictions
This is an exciting opportunity for a Medical Leader to enhance the provision of clinical services in Auckland District Health Board (ADHB)’s Mental Health and Addictions Directorate.
The position reports to the Directorate Director and is professionally accountable to the Chief Medical Officer. As the Medical Director you will join a supportive team, including Nursing, Allied Health, Primary Care Director’s and a general manager.
You will assist with implementing a road map / action plan to take ADHB’s leading edge Mental Health Services into the future and driving change in the services to meet the evolving needs of the Auckland population.
The Medical Director will be responsible for providing professional and clinical leadership to a large medical workforce.
The Position is a Full time,Permanent role and the clinical component is flexible.
This role will have a key focus on Senior Medical Officer Workforce development to align with future service delivery and the successful candidate will need to be actively involved in service improvement and development.
