Based from our purpose-built Christchurch office, our in-house scheduling team coordinate the delivery of bulk fuel to a wide range of customers including Farmlands Shareholders, Challenge Service Stations and commercial and rural customers, right across the country.
One of our existing co-ordinator's is moving to another role within our team, so we're on the hunt for a new Logistics Co-
ordinator, a role where you will be instrumental in the success of Farmlands Fuel.
A typical day will see you planning and organising scheduled fuel runs for a fleet of rural and bulk tankers, providing a support link for fuel tanker drivers and liaising with both internal and external contacts and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
It goes without saying that exceptional organisational, co-ordination and communication skills are a must.
Sometimes things don't always go to plan, so the ability to think quick and remain calm under pressure will also be critical to your success.
Whilst experience in a logistics planning / scheduling role is desirable, it's not essential.
We're looking for someone who can comfortably juggle multiple tasks with a good eye for detail, all while maintaining a great sense of humour and being an exceptional team player.
