    About the role

  • The Category Consultant plays a critical role, reporting directly to the Operations Director. Responsible for providing professional space management services to all customers including;
  • Bespoke Analytical Projects, Solution Training, Technical Support and Solution Implementation.


  • Be a Solution Expert - Manage the delivery of Bespoke Category Projects, providing insights, recommendations and solutions to customers.
  • Run and facilitate public and private solution Training Courses, with 3 levels of solution certification
  • Stakeholder Relationship Contact nurture and develop relationships through onboarding, guidance & change management activities.
  • Manage and resolve Customer Technical Enquiries and resolutions through support to promote transformation
  • Responsibility for Customer Onboarding project delivery including; design scope, data requirements, configuration, build and deployment.
  • Acting interface with all Stakeholders, including Key Clients, Internal Project Manager and Global Development teams
  • Skills and experience

  • Experience in Space Planning / Management, Category Development, Shopper Insights within an FMCG supplier or retailer business
  • Demonstrated ability in providing recommendations using quantitative data such as POS, Loyalty or Household Panel Data.
  • Proficient utilising Apollo, Spaceman, JDA software
  • Experience providing software or similar based-product training within a consultative environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach.
