About this role

Support the development of project and place activation plans and work with our communities for look at how we can innovate when designing urban areas.

You will create and deliver promotion plans in shopping centres and places where community meets and be involved in building awareness of projects activities and events of community interest.

This is a role that will draw on your collaborative creative bent. You are a dreamer and schemer who sees possibilities and works with the wider community to bring back feedback and ideas to help us pump new blood into our city so it reflects our people.

Your learnings will inform the planning and architecture of our Urban design and help us create spaces and places our community will be proud to live in.

About you

To be a successful in this role you will bring :

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of engagement, community development and placemaking practices and policies
  • The ability to look for opportunities for change and improvement
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in public housing, housing and construction markets
  • A passion to give people the chance to thrive
  • Experience in promotion and event management
  • Familiarity with national policy directions, current best practice planning and legislative changes
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
