Based in Auckland, BidOne is the specialist ecommerce platform development team of the global Bidcorp business.
BidOne is a local team with a global presence. Every day thousands of hospitality and foodservice businesses around the world place orders with their local Bidfood wholesale supplier on the BidOne apps and online platforms.
In partnership with the Product Owner, the Product Team Business Analyst works to deliver product features that are continually enriching the digital experience for Bidfood and their customers & suppliers.
The Product Team Business Analyst readies the requirements for design and development, supports the development lifecycle and testing, prepares documentation and presentations to ensure successful implementation of new features into business activity.
Refine user stories and documentation through the design process, transition to resolved PBI’s with acceptance criteria ready for development
Ensure QA test cases, automation and performance tests reflect the use case.
Support detailed feature UAT for major feature deliverables.
Monitor client UAT and feedback on newly implemented features to ensure bugs and issues are resolved appropriate to their priority.
Create & maintain documentation.
First point of contact for queries / assistance with functional operations, troubleshooting in testing, how-to / can-we queries from Project Managers, Support teams and customer.
Co-ordinate the agile ceremonies.
Maintain PBI estimates and monitor resourcing in Activity timeline. Identify bottlenecks and contention, create timetasks for activity tracking & billing.
As BidOne has a large proportion of customers outside of New Zealand, there is a requirement for some customer and project communications outside of the normal working day.
BidOne has a structured 3 days office, 2 days work from home cycle per week consistent across all teams.
Successful project & product business analysis in a web or similar development development environment.
Relevant commercial industry experience, with a balance of business & technical background.
Agile & Jira competency.
Strong analytical skills to determine the best functional outcome to meet customer needs.
Excellent in written & verbal communication, including a level of comfort being the facilitator / presenter in a group setting.
Comfortable juggling competing priorities.
Investigative and problem solving skills.
