The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Drainage Foreman to join our project team in delivering the development of Cameron Road in Tauranga CBD, working alongside our regional construction team in the Bay of Plenty.

The construction division are known for the Good Work in successfully delivering numerous projects for our clients in the greater Tauranga and Western Bay of Plenty districts.

Reporting to the supervisor your main responsibilities will be leading a drainage crew and managing day to day tasks. You will ensure the team compliance with Fulton Hogan's Health and Safety policies, the development of staff within the crew.

You will ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the relevant job and work instruction, and meet and exceed customer expectations.

You will drive productivity whilst maintaining the teams moral. Further skills or attributes desired are :

  • Background in civil drainage / construction.
  • The ability to read and understand plans
  • Full class 2 license and WTR endorsements.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Driven to increase productivity, achieve goals, and meet deadlines.
  • An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail.
