Centre of Māori Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Hamilton.About the role : The primary role of the Specialist - Innovation and Technology is to curate and facilitate kaupapa Māori infused technology and innovation programmes and workshops.
The role will be pivotal in the execution of customer centric solutions from the Te Toiotua Technology and Innovation Lab at Ahikōmako Centre of Māori Innovation and Entrepreneurship.The role will :
Provide access to, and understanding of, state-of-the-art technology to increase user capabilityBe a key technology enabler for Māori entrepreneurs, businesses, and innovators in their ideation and technological developmentsAdvance the growth of Māori digital and tech innovators to achieve tech enabled business success, employment, and personal capabilityProvide access and support to tauira in technology capacity and capability development, assisting in learning outcomesDesign and develop Tech and Innovation capability programmes and solutions that provides supports our customersAbout you : You have :
A Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline3+ years’ in a technology, ICT, or commercial environment3+ years’ in developing and delivering digital innovation technology programmesExcellent ability in project managementExcellent ability working in a design and human-
centred thinking environmentYou excel at establishing and maintaining strong and meaningful strategic relationships with key stakeholdersA basic understanding of Te Reo Māori phrases, mihi and greetings (TARM level 2 or equivalent qualification or experience)A full NZ Drivers LicenceWhy you should apply :
