    About usTe Puna Hanganga, Matihiko Infrastructure & Digital - Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga Ministry of Education, leads inclusive, accessible and integrated national, digital and physical infrastructure and transport services to the education system.

    Mō tēnei tūranga About this roleWe are working on significant and exciting initiatives that will make a meaningful difference to the quality of education services provided to New Zealanders.

    We are undergoing an organisation transformation and redesigning how we deliver services across the Ministry. In this role, you will be responsible for initiating and project managing a new Case Management Redesign project.

    As the Senior Project Manager, your activities will include :

  • Defining what the best solution is for the Ministry
  • Developing and preparing a business case
  • Completing all projects artefacts
  • Establishing strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholdersPlease note there is further information available in the attached Job Description.
  • Mōhou ake About youWe are looking for a Senior Project Manager who has prior experience of successfully delivering large projects part of a digital transformation.

    To be successful in this role, you will also have

  • Experience initiating projects
  • Experience preparing business cases
  • Experience with the Salesforce Platform and Service Design would be an advantage
  • Good understanding of Government mechanisms
  • Good understanding of Project Management methodologies ideally Prince 2 certification
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
