with an interest in youth and family tojoin our Violence Intervention Programme Team in Timaru. Dedicated to helpingpeople live their best possible lives, we’re after someone who believesprevention is better than cure. Sound like you?
Inthis role, you will collaboratively coordinate the provision of the ViolenceIntervention Programme (VIP) for our DHB and facilitate best practice in theidentification and management of child protection issues.
You will deliver VIP training and support tohealth professionals, work with DHB service areas to improve understanding andpractice, and manage local health system child protection alert process andreporting.
Ifyou have strong community linkages, sound skills in communication, informationsystems, problem solving, facilitation and adult education, and are flexible,innovative and creative, then this is your opportunity to make a difference.
