About this role
Verification Services is looking for a Veterinary Reliever to join the Establishment team for Dunedin where you will be part of a supportive local MPI and wider team community.
While the role is best suited to experienced Veterinary Verifiers, we are also very happy to consider appropriately experienced applicants from private practice looking to make a change.
The purpose of this position is to undertake verification activities in line with current legislation and organisational requirements, thereby permitting the issue of official assurances.
The role involves relieving at premises in the Dunedin Establishment team, but you may be required to relieve at premises in other parts of the country when the need arises.
at times this will include weekend work and will also require you undertake on-farm audits.

Reporting to the Team Manager Establishment Dunedin, the role sits within the Establishment group of the Verification Services directorate.
MPI Verification Services (MPI VS) provides a range of food safety and biosecurity verification and certification services to support market access strategies and setting standards.
