About the Role

As the Retail Manager, you will oversee the daily and strategic operation of the instore and online gift shop at SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's.

Working closely with the leadership team, you will create, implement and drive operational strategies to exceed guest’s expectations and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.

Additional responsibilities include :

  • Create, drive and implement new and innovative products to promote growth and improve spend per customer
  • Assist in the creation, implementation and delivery of the overall operational strategy for the Retail department
  • Lead the Retail team in its goal of delivering a world-class offering to our guests
  • Management of the Retail stocktake, ordering and procuring
  • Assist with the hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising of team members
  • Ensuring all team members are trained in resolving guest concerns, upselling and overall customer service
  • Duty management of the entire attraction on a weekly roster with the other duty managers
  • About You

    You have a proven work history in the retail space, coupled with experience in a more senior / supervisory role. This combined with your visual merchandising, procurement, cash handling and stock control experience will set you up for success.

    You are an outstanding communicator, who is confident yet approachable, and are able to use your knowledge and expertise to lead the team to achieve set targets and KPI's.

    Your ability to multi-task and have a flexible and adaptable approach along with the ability to meet deadlines and have demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills are desired.
