The business is a well-established manufacturing company with multi-site operations across New Zealand. They are highly regarded for their R&D and Lean Manufacturing and their high-tech products are in high demand in NZ and overseas.
This role sits in the Australasian head office which is based on the fringe of the Auckland CBD. In this purchasing and supply planning role, you will be purchasing finished goods from a range of manufacturing sites and ensuring that there is sufficient supply across the warehouses in Australia at all times.
You will have working knowledge of ERP systems and be competent on Excel.
You will be strong in negotiation and be able to manage pushback and work to manage expectations.
Close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders are a must. Particularly with production, warehousing, the supply team, the sales team and logistics carriers.
As a skilled and energetic supply chain professional, you can confidently demonstrate a robust understanding of supply planning and purchasing principles.
Your ability to focus on quality and fine-tune planning across your portfolio using your impressive analytical skills and commercial nous will be key to your success.
