About the roleThis role will see you supporting the Better Buying and Pricing team in driving our commercial buying and pricing strategies.
This multifaceted role involves collaborating across multiple departments to ensure alignment across our commercial objectives which could see you delivering key insights, assisting to drive frameworks across our pricing mechanics through to coordination of commercial training across the Merchandise department.
Some of your key responsibilities will include : Providing support across buying and pricing commercial strategiesProviding fact-based insights into performance of pricing and strategic initiatives and identifying areas of opportunityDelivering progress updates on key strategic initiativesAnalysing, tracking and monitoring cost and structural changesMaintaining high level relationships with third parties and teamsAbout youThis is a great opportunity to really drive the key insights that will grow our commercial engagement capabilities.
We are looking for an analytical thinker, someone who will bring a fresh perspective and deliver optimal results for the business.
You will have the proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders and your ability to identify actionable insights will be paramount to the success of this role.
To be successful in this role, your background will likely reflect : Degree qualified in Commerce / Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Maths or similarCategory Analysis experience within Retail, FMCG or highly analyticalHigh attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office including ExcelSome experience using Tableau would be an advantage, but not essentialWe are looking for someone that can collect, process, and analyse data for optimal business results.
